Sama halnya dengan makhluk hidup lain, kucing mempunyai fase kehidupan sendiri, di mana setiap fase harus dirawat dan diperlakukan dengan cara berbeda. Jadi, penting diketahui cara menghitung umur kucing. Apalagi jika Anda ingin meninggalkannya dan dibawa ke penitipan kucing di Bekasi.
Mengapa? Sebelum meningkkalkannya dengan orang baru, Anda harus memastikan terlebih dahulu makanan dan keperluan lainnya. Makanan kucing dewasa dan anak akan berbeda.
Cara Menghitung Umur Kucing
Sebelumnya Anda mungkin tidak terlalu memperhatikan usia kucing. Apalagi jika Anabul diadopsi dari tempat tertentu atau kucing yang awalnya liar.
Kebanyakan, memelihara kucing dan memperhatikan makan secara feeling saja. Nah, sebelum dibawa ke penitipan kucing di Bekasi, yuk, hitung umurnya dengan cara berikut.
- Kucing Bayi Hingga Dewasa
Usia kucing dapat dicatat sejak dia baru lahir. Tahun pertama kucing disebut ahli sebagai 15 tahun usia manusia. Itu berarti, tahun pertama kucing tumbuh mulai dari bayi, anak-anak, hingga remaja.
Jadi, di usia ini Anda akan melihat banyak perubahan. Makanannya juga berkembang cepat dari 3 bulan pertama yang lunak, hingga makanan dewasa di usia lebih dari 8 bulan.
Pada masa ini kucing juga mulai birahi dan mendekati lawan jenis.
Tahun kedua, kucing sudah dianggap dewasa. Usianya ditambah sekitar 9 tahun manusia.
Jadi, saat Anabul memasuki usia dua tahun, itu artinya dia sudah mulai dewasa atau sekitar 24 tahun manusia. Kucing di usia ini sudah sesekali harus dikeluarkan agar lebih nyaman. Mereka sudah tahu tempat tinggalnya dan akan pulang sendiri.
Usia kucing tahun ketiga dan selanjutnya, usia kucing sama dengan 24 tahun ditambah 4 per tahun. Jadi usia kucing 3 tahun setara dengan 28 tahun umur manusia dan 6 tahun setara dengan 40 tahun.
Ketika Anabul di bawah ke tempat penitipan hewan, usia kucing bisa diinformasikan agar perawat di sana tahu apa yang harus diperbuat.
2. Ciri Kucing Bayi
Selain usia di atas, Anda juga bisa memperhatikan ciri kucing bayi sebagai berikut.
- Minggu pertama, bayi kucing lahir dengan berat hanya 100 gram jika ditimbang. Matanya tertutup dan belum bisa melihat. Telinganya berlipat ke dalam. Pada hari ketiga, biasanya tali pusar mulai lepas.
- Pekan kedua, berat badan bertambah drastis. Mata kucing mulai terbuka, tumbuh gigi, telinga lebih tegak, dan Anabul mulai berjalan ke sekelilingnya.
- Pekan keempat, gigi kucing tumbuh lebih banyak dan mulai lebih mendengar.
- Pekan kelima, anak kucing sudah mulai melihat penuh dan sudah mulai makanan lebih padat.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
