Menentukan Jenis Kelamin Kucing dengan Memeriksa Sekitar Anus
Anus atau tempat kucing mengeluarkan kotoran terletak di bagian belakang tubuh kucing, tepatnya di bawah ekor.
Kalau kamu mau periksa jenis kelamin anak kucing dengan cara ini maka pegang dulu bagian perut dengan satu tangan dan satu tangan lain bagian ekornya.
Kucing sebenarnya tidak suka dipegang pada kedua bagian ini maka kamu harus hati-hati, khususnya untuk anak kucing yang sudah berusia beberapa minggu.
Setelah dipegang, tiup bagian bulu sekitar anuas agar tidak menutupi.
Kalau bulu masih saja menutupio anus, basahilan bulu sekitar anus. Dengan cara ini anus akan terlihat.
Dari bagian anus, kamu dapat menentukan jenis kelamin kucing, yaitu:
- Perhatikan bagian bawah anus, anak kucing jantan punya kubang kecil berbentuk lingkaran di bagian bawah anus. Dari bagian inilah nantinya akan terbentuk kelamin kucing. Kucing betina tidak punya lubang di bawah anusnya.
- Selanjutnya, perhatikan pula saluran kencing kucing yang ada di bawah anus. Kucing jantan mempunyai jarak anus dan saluran kencing cukup jauh, sekitar 1 inchi atau 2,5 cm. Sementara jarak anus dan saluran kecing kucing betina lebih dekat, maksimal 1,5 inchi atau sekitar 1cm
Jarak yang jauh pada kucing jantan karena nantinya di bagian bawah anus akan tumbuh testis.
Menentukan Jenis Kelamin Kucing Berdasarkan Besar Kepala
Bagi Cat Lovers pemula mungkin agak sulit menentukan jenis kelamin kucing dengan melihat kepalanya.Tapi kamu dapat mempelajarinya hingga suatu saat dapat memperkirakan kucing jantan dan betina tanpa periksa sekitar anus.
Kepala kucing jantan cenderung lebih besar daripada betina.

Kucing biasanya mempunyai banyak anak ketika melahirkan.Perhatikan smeua anak yang dilahirkan bersamaan tersebut.
