Misalpun ada kucing odd eye mengalami gangguan pendengaran, resiko itu sama dengan kucing lainnya. Tuli pada kucing adalah bentuk cacat genetik yang disebabkan oleh degenerasi pada telinga dalam.
Ketika ada kucing odd eye tuli, ya memang karena ia mengalami kelainan genetik. Bukan semata karena dua warna matanya berbeda. Jadi jelas itu hanya mitos ya guys! Kucing bukan odd eye pun punya resiko mengalami tuli.
Tidak Hanya Terjadi Pada Kucing Putih
Selama ini orang mengira kalau kondisi odd eye hanya terjadi pada kucing putih. Ternyata hal itu tidak terjadi pada kucing putih saja lho!
Kucing warna lain pun bisa mengalami kondisi odd eye juga. Jadi bukan Cuma kucing warna putih ya!
Terlahir Karena Kelainan Genetik
Kondisi odd eye terjadi karena ada kelainan genetik pada mata. Ada perbedaan lapisan melanin pada mata kucing. Karena pada kucing, proses pigmentasi mata berjalan seiring waktu sebab kucing terlahir dalam kondisi buta.
Nah, pada kasus odd eye ini salah satu mata berhenti pigmentasinya. Alhasil muncullah warna yang berbeda. Warna yang biasa muncul antara lain biru, emas, atau warna tembaga. Kamu pernah lihat yang mana?
