Raw food, merupakan singkatan dari Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. Sebutan makanan ini mungkin belum banyak dikenal di Indonesia.
Meski demikian, jelas dari katanya bahwa makanan ini sangat sehat untuk hewan peliharaan kucing dan anjing.
Dalam istilah awam manusia, raw food mirip dengan makanan organic. Kamu dapat membuatnya sendiri atau membeli yang sudah jadi alias instan di toko hewan kesayangan.
Apa itu Raw Food?
Di atas kamu sudah mengenalkan makanan mentah ini secara sekilas berdasarkan kata. Bagaimana pengertiannya?
Raw food adalah makanan anjing atau kucing yang berupa daging mentah, buah-buahan, sayuran, telur mentah, dan produk susu formula. Semua atau beberapa dari bahan tersebut dicampurkan jadi satu.
Makanan tersebut tidak perlu dimasakan atau mengalami pengolahan sebelumnya. Jikalau mdiolah atau dimasakan,hanya sebentar sehingga kandungan gizinya tidak banyak hilang. Makanan alami diyakini mengandung antioksidan, vitamin, enzim, asam amino, dan mineral yang aunacitaved melalui pemasakan.
Jadi, makanan dapat langsung dicerna oleh hewan peliharaan kaki empat yang disebutkan di atas.
Apa manfaat kandungan raw food yang disebutkan di atas? Di bawah ini beberapa di antaranya.
